If you are interested in serving in district leadership, you may apply to be a Floor Candidate for any of the elected District Leadership Roles. Please read the information below to familiarize yourself with the roles, rules and procedures.

Floor Candidate – Process Overview
Here we provide a brief introduction to the process for becoming a district officer. For a detailed explanation of the official rules concerning the nomination process, refer to the District Administrative Bylaws, Article VII Officers and Protocol 9.0: District Campaigns and Elections.
Floor Candidate Declaration
Eligible floor candidates shall declare their intent to run in writing to the District Director after the DLC report has been published and at least seven (7) days prior to the Annual Meeting of the District Council.
All eligible floor candidates must complete and submit all forms to District 49 Director Aiko Hemingway, DTM (toastmasteraiko@gmail.com) by April 25, 2025.
